Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Orchive, a mobile application provided by GenZ Crafters (“we,” “us”). By downloading or using Orchive, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. The service
Orchive helps you capture, organize, and set reminders for paper receipts and similar documents. Features may include on-device OCR, local notifications, optional cloud backup, and paid subscriptions (“Orchive Pro”). We may update, add, or remove features over time.
2. Eligibility
You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction and meet any minimum age required by the App Store or Google Play for downloading apps. You are responsible for the device and accounts you use with Orchive.
3. Your content
You retain ownership of the photos, titles, notes, and other content you add (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited license to host, store, and process Your Content solely to operate features you enable (including optional cloud sync). You represent that you have the rights needed to use Your Content in Orchive and that it does not violate law or third-party rights.
4. Accounts
Some features require an account. You must provide accurate information and keep credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us promptly of unauthorized use.
5. Subscriptions and free tier
- Orchive may offer a free tier with limits (for example, a maximum number of receipts).
- Orchive Pro is billed through Apple App Store or Google Play under their payment terms. Pricing and billing periods are shown in the store listing and purchase sheet.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled in your store account settings at least 24 hours before the end of the current period (or as required by the platform).
- Deleting your Orchive account or uninstalling the App does not cancel store billing. Manage subscriptions in App Store or Google Play settings.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their policies, except where mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Misuse the App, attempt unauthorized access, or disrupt our services
- Upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content
- Reverse engineer the App except where allowed by law
- Use Orchive to violate export, privacy, or other applicable laws
7. Intellectual property
Orchive, including its name, logos, design, and software (excluding Your Content), is owned by GenZ Crafters or its licensors. These Terms do not grant you ownership of the App — only a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use it as intended.
8. Third-party services
Orchive relies on platform services (camera, photos, notifications) and, when enabled, Firebase, RevenueCat, and the app stores. Their terms and privacy policies also apply to those components.
9. Disclaimers
Orchive is provided “as is” and “as available.” OCR suggestions may be inaccurate; always verify important dates and details. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GenZ Crafters and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of Orchive. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the App will not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us for Orchive Pro in the twelve months before the claim or (b) fifty US dollars (US $50). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, limits apply to the maximum extent allowed.
11. Termination
You may stop using Orchive at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the service. On termination, your license ends; sections that by nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, and liability limits) will survive.
12. Changes to the Terms
We may revise these Terms. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance, except where applicable law requires additional consent.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where GenZ Crafters principally operates, without regard to conflict of law rules, except that mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence continue to apply.
